So here's the black and white version, which is a tweaked red channel only. This gave the skin a real glow and removed all the blemishes as well.

I like this, John! Very subtly enhanced by your tweak. I also like your colour version, although the reds are a bit "in yer face" (no pun intended). Both work for me!

This unblemished mono version is also very impressive, may be less charming but more appealing to me. Both great works.
