Quite beautiful (and cold, I suppose?)
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass

Many thanks David 😊 It was rather magical to witness and a bit chilly too😊 Cheaper than going to see the misty Huang Shan mountains in China, though I would love a trip there one autumn 😂

Thanks very much for your kind and enthusiastic comments Donna 😊 I rather liked the soft tones in this, strange for me with my love of rich hues (probably due to having been involved with lots of legal graffiti mural projects in the past😂. I do love mists for there partial revelations of the familiar, yet the mystery inherent in such paradoxes,😊

Very moody shot. The compression of the different levels is very nice - great choice of lens !
Best regards

Many thanks indeed Nigel 😊 The compression felt important to me and curiously the muted tones too. I like the chance to do something different when the opportunity arises 😊

Lovely, almost monochrome, but with a hint of colour. What strikes me most about this image is that you have chosen the perfect point of view to give it maximum impact.
