It's not often I do a colour pop, but I couldn't resist it on this particular subject.

BTW, apologies if you commented on the first version. I uploaded the wrong file; this one has been processed differently to add a more surreal look.

Clever stuff David, the surreal effect is palpable and instantaneous, judicious use of the colour pop. I suspect you may have used Gaussian Blur on this, though I could be way off the mark)
Hi Jim, thanks for the comments! No Gaussian Blur at all on this one, but I have combined three layers to get the final effect. One layer is the coloured parts, the other two are a combination of two different processing methods in black and white.
Some of the effect is down to the lens used (SMC K135mm F2.5). This particular lens is something of a star IMHO and renders images with a lovely quality, very sharp where you need them to be but with smooth out of focus areas.
