Love this. Is this at the `Mach Loop`?

Al...nice one...I did wonder whether you'd managed to see it! Just lucky or a 'heads up'?

I'm guessing that they will become a common sight eventually like the C130. From a video I saw online it appeared to fly higher and looked like it was overhead the lower slopes of CAD WEST rather than following the road proper? Not surprising if this was indeed the case given its large bulk.

Happy New Year by the way!

Certainly makes a change from the lightweights!

Nice picture - I like the smooth texture of the aircraft against the more rugged background

Thank you all for the kind comments. This was taken within the Mach Loop. Haven't had much chance to get out much lately as unfortunately my pensionable mother suffered a stroke mid December and only recently returned home. Doing very well now thankfully.
Anyone planning a visit is always welcome to look me up for a catch up on the hills. Some nice landscape within the area too. 👍
