Hale lighthouse and environs July 2019

The lighthouse at Hale Point near Widnes, Merseyside is no longer functional but is still maintained. The lighthouse is on the banks of the River Mersey and the photo looks across Liverpool John Lennon Airport towards the Vauxhall plant on the Wirral Peninsula.
