Never Forget Part 1

by Carol8345

Ventured out into the city again last night. This one was taken with the K-3 ii while my fiance took the same one with his Sony A-63. It's remarkable the difference in the color. Mine came out with blues and purples, his blues and gold. I tried to straighten out the photo in Lightroom with lens correction but the building on the right still looks like its falling over.

Don't worry, I'm not posting the Sony, that would be blasphemy...lol

Nice one Carol. There is meant to be difference in colors, From white balance temperature to jpg rendering. Even if shooting raw and you set the Kelvins to the exact same value on two different cameras, upon import to lightroom, they are likely to be color differences as lens affects color rendition as well.

Great shot either way. Well, probably 2 great shots

I understand people are profoundly affected when they visit this memorial to 9-11 dead. I hope to visit it someday. A lovely composition.

Very nice composition... lovely lead ins, and super cross over light... never worried too much about the leaning verticals myself... I rather like the sense of scale they imply...

Best

Was quite an experience, you were allowed out on the roof area then, amazing views, I can remember being told that the lifts could reached a quarter of a mile high faster than a jet taking off, but you never felt a thing.
