Melting ice gathered by wind at Lake Nuas in Sotkamo, Kainuu, Finland.
The sound of this phenomenon resembled that of glass bells. It's spring here
now!

Looks lovely, a cracking (Excuse the pun) photo, pity you cant add the sound for us but your description is excellent.

Fantastic image thanks for sharing it , would be even better to hear it , not a phenomenon we hope or expect to see this far south though

Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass
