Yes it looks cheap and plasticky off camera but superb in use.I wanted the 35mm LTD Macro version but doubt I would have gained much in practice. I put a cheap Kood silicone folding lens hood on mine (none with it)

Thanks Maria, we are lucky to live in Derbyshire. Not many sea views though

Premier Ink for the lens hoods at 3.99 but their postage is high for small orders(shown as unbranded but turned out to be Kood) link
