Mating Ducks

Mallard Ducks are vicious when mating. Just prior to this shot being taken, the female was surrounded by about 10 males, all fighting for her. I would guess that some females drown during this ordeal. Eventually this male triumphed and won his female prize.

I took some the other day in exactly the same circumstances, about the same amount of males after one female, i thought they were going to drown her! i have to say yours came out better than any of mine.
