Ferguson T20

Photo Information
These tractors, and ones like them, made by Ford, Allis-Chalmers, David Brown and The International Harvester Co. et. al. were the mainstay of farming between and after the war. Many are still in full working order, unlike this one in the Devonshire village of Belstone.

I like the moss covering the whole of the tractor, including the tires. This kind of thing never happens here except in the north. I have always had the desire to drive one since my childhood, but I've never had the chance. I also find the iron seats of them very interesting and comfy.

It made me happy to see that my nephew, the new Pentaxian, made a comment on your photo Andrew! You're adding new students to your list.

Thanks Nezih, Emre. So glad you like it. It was a wonderful find, just as the side of the road.
Best wishes,

Andrew

We have a number of old tractors in this part of the Netherlands, indeed, my neighbour's son renovates them. We even have a couple of Porsche engined ones locally!
This one makes a delightfully rustic shot.
