Lovely shot, except to my eye there's a bit too much white emptiness in the foreground? I would crop it a bit at the bottom, however I may be wrong as the empty space does lend the image a feeling of a remote countryside location.

What a beautiful image, well worth the trip back, both images are beautiful!

I love those crisp edges on the trees. The thought of getting inside, lighting a fire, putting the kettle on, opening the biscuit tin and eventually being curled up in my favourite armchair in isolation with a good book is a very nice one.

Very northern; very sharp and clean.
Best wishes,

Andrew

Thank you all! Much appreciated.

I am hoping to do a photographic take on Antonio Vivaldi's "The Four Seasons" , so I will be back with a spring version of the smithy soon.
