Lusted after a DSLR for many years until eventually in Feb '12 I bought a used K10D and a kit lens from SRS.

A mediocre image compared to others' uploads, but we all have to start somewhere! This one is special to me as it's one of the very first shots I took on my first outing with the camera.

K10D ISO400 18-55WR f/5.6 1/8sec handheld. Have since bought a tripod.

For a first shot it's a good composition. Good 'lead in lines'.

I would say, there is a room to improve, but on other hand there is already good parts you have done.
