Chelmer and Blackwater Navigation

During a weekend in the UK earlier this month I partook of a pleasant walk along the Chelmer and Blackwater Navigation to the Heybridge Basin around Maldon, Essex, on a slightly chilly public holiday Monday.
Numerous vessels are moored alongside the waterway, some having been there unattended for many years and thus attaining varying degrees of dilapidation. Let's assume the owners are still paying their mooring fees!?
An early shot with my latest acquisition, the D FA 24-70 lens. Pretty impressed so far, bar the lugging around of a lens having the weight and dimensions of a house brick!
