After the Fire

After the Fire

Photo Information
These trees were destroyed during the terrible wild fires that swept over large parts of Madeira in 2016. It's clear that all of the undergrowth has grown back, but there are very few young trees as the bracken has crowded them out. These are at the extreme western edge of the Island at Pedregal. It was shot just as a bank of rain swept in from the Atlantic.
