Last Year's Cones

Taken on a local walk today, I think these are cones of a Larch Tree.

super crisp focus on the bottom cone davidstorm and nicely isolated in the frame Liked, i would have had my scissors handy though for that stray twig slightly impairing it, but that's just me

Ha ha, I couldn't reach the twig to remove it, there was dense undergrowth in the way. I could have cloned it out, but that's cheating isn't it?

Cheating maybe but i like to think of it more as enhancement. id better shut up though as I'm sounding like a modern politician

Super shot. Those little cones make great subjects. And I like the bokeh that lens is providing.
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass
