Mirrored moth

I came across this moth on our Bathroom mirror the other night, and was surprised it was happy to stay there whilst I tried to take it's portrait.

Great idea, what lens was this, is it the 55-300?

The lens was just the 18-55 kit lens (it was on the camera and focuses fairly close) lighting was via the built in flash diffused by a sheet of toilet tissue. It did take a few tries to get the angle right...
