I don't understand the comment above 'Chris_89' "fluted"?
The image 'Boat machinery' is well composed and I think the two subjects look like real, likable characters, unfortunately, the boat machinery in the foreground is perfectly focused, leaving the two characters out of focus, possibly of depth of field problem, sorry.
Not everything in life is Black & White, If only it were!

A good attempt at a human interest shot, unfortunately the facial expressions are out of focus, If the intent was to just record the engine
