Press Machine for Wool

by nonur

Shot in Afyon on my way to Konya through a window of a traditional wollen matress and quilt maker's shop. I don't know whether it is called a press or not. I surmise from the cylinders that it could be used to produce flattened layers from yarn.

That's a brilliant machine, Nezih. Just the sort of thing I like to see. (And photograph!)
Best wishes,

Andrew

Thank you Andrew and Larry, it's a very interesting thing. Now I know that Afyon has some great opportunities for photographers.

I think so, as it seems, they are going to be extinct in near future.
