A wonderful sweeping landscape, Jim. That tree makes it, as does the great sky. Not sure I'd have cut off the bottom of the nearest post (I think it needs anchoring in the ground) but that's being very fussy...

here is another exquisite BW landscape, .. Jim, .. a bit curious how do you manage to be on right time at right place to catch such dramatic sky aspects, .. .. That's a fake question, I'm sure you've get it as such .. the photographer secret must stay photographer secret

High impact, but the Kx images can look a bit 'crusty' now compared to the K5's

Dramatic! I'm not sure what 'crusty' means, the images from my K-x look OK to me, as do yours Jim.

Thanks Andrew it never even occured to me to think about this aspect, a good pointer for the future
