A gateway to the countryside

Photo Information
Shot this morning in foul weather in the Staffordshire Peak District. This is close to Lud's Church and The Roaches, the view was appealing and the light created by the bank of low cloud over the hills made a lovely contrast in the background.

Thank you Giulio, it was like this for just a couple of minutes, then the low clouds rolled in and it rained for about an hour. Right place at the right time, that's how it often is with photography!

Beautifully detailed, especially those little flowers in the foreground.
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass

POTW, hands down. Amen! That fence leads us into another magical English landscape. How fortunate you Brits are to live in this island. And of course, a big like.
