Cheers! It was a slightly weird process. I set the exposure and fired it with a wireless release , then fired the flash manually from an off-camera speedlight to freeze the model. I was amazed anything came out at all as we only got about 20 shots total of the moving flame as it started tipping down almost immediately. I'd love to do it again with a bit more time...
