London - almost mono

by davidstorm

I've had a play around with this image I uploaded yesterday as I thought it had potential for some different effects. Basically, I converted a version of this to a pencil sketch, applied this as a layer. I then added further layers to achieve a high contrast almost mono look, each layer given a different treatment.

This is the result - still the same image, but different.

I find it hard to pick between the two, but this desaturated look does give it an old feel.
