Wow - that's so sharp I nearly cut myself on it !

You have certainly made that kit lens perform.
I've obviously not used mine correctly in the past - I need to keep it stopped down more.
You said it was dull but the sun came out briefly - well to get that brilliance at f/20 it must have really come through strong ?

Peter, it was after a comment by you on one of Mohammad's shots using the same lens that made me give it a go !!!
The 18-55 is a cracking lens !

My sentiments entirely.
I am very attached to this part of France. When the family was young, our favourite holiday was meandering along the Loire in our VW camper, visiting the chateaux and [me] sampling the wines
