Modernity in the Landscape

Photo Information
This set of buildings seemed a bit at odds to me, set as it is within the landscape of Loch Leven and the Scottish Highlands. However, I liked the colours and the contrasts between the sharp modern lines of the building and the beauty of nature around it, so I took this photo!

That's lovely David. The colour satruration, foreground, sky and the reflection, all work well together.

I like the composition. Contrast is perhaps a bit high for my taste, but then I've just uploaded one that probably needs more contrast.

I agree those buildings don't seem terribly in keeping with the landscape but somehow they work in this photo. I'm confused by the dark building on the right. The windows suggest it's sloping from ground up. Is that right?

Another lovely one David. Well spotted and well captured.

I'm amazed that unlike your name you always seem to find 'calm' days to use mirror smooth waters for reflections !
Do you have some magic spell ?

Great work

Best wishes

I think it's just the angle I was taking the photo from that makes it look this way. I have checked the image and it is perfectly level, so that's not causing it.

It's the The Isles of Glencoe Hotel & Leisure Centre and, judging by this photo, that part of the building does slope. Hope you haven't packed up the lens for repair yet!
