Photo Information
Spent an hour or two with my pal Cliff-P over at Winwick waiting for Princess Elizabeth, not the best of light this morning but great to see Cliff again and return to steam, hoping for plenty more this year.

Thanks everyone, TBH Cliff this was the only decent one in five or six sequence, visibility didn't seem very good at the time and I think that had a lot to do with it. This was the closest she got before I lost all sight in the viewfinder as she passed me.

Its good to see mainline steam back again after the winter. How fast do you reckon Lizzie was doing here?
This is well photographed despite the light. We had poor light at Whitby as well today.

Hi David, I reckon about 50-60mph, she wasn't hanging around although there was a speed restriction just past this point so I was told. Clif and I both seem to have had trouble with the cameras focusing.

John

A nice capture conveying power and speed accentuated by the track level viewpoint.

I can't see any problem with the focus.

Would be interested to see a mono too.
