A shot from 'The living rainforest', just north of Newbury. There's plenty of plants and fair number of animals (unlike the Eden project), some of those animals actually live 'wild' in the rainforest, this was one of 'em, and he did like posing!
There are 2 versions of this, this is the narrow dof version which, although won't win any natural history fans, works better as a lizard portrait (I think).

Taken with some rubbish old K-5 and 50mm f/1.4.
I am also in the happy position of having no free money to even consider a K-3 .... although it does look nice ... .... although I could sell the 645N ....... yeah right.

I love the DOF in this shot. Gives it a real film-like feel. Black and white was the perfect choice too. Everything in this shot is superb.
