Many thanks my friends. Paul the side of the building hidden on the right is supported with buttresses and steel girders. If you walk on the upper floor it is like listing on a ship the granite floor is so heavy it has subsided everywhere.

It is one of the most amazing buildings I have ever been in. They say the only perpendicular part of the building is the fireplace in the bedroom on the upper right side of the building.

Hi Jim, I know this place well after I lived in Cheshire for a long time, we used to visit it. Great capture the black and white Tudor building is lovely, what a lovely blue sky too. I wondered could you still go inside this building? Thanks for your comns on my photos, and I have visited your gallery too, very interesting. Cheers Trixie

Hi Trixie, thanks very much for your appreciation. Yes you can still get into the building, it's £7.50 for entry, well worth it IMO. Had a look at your website, some very nice shots in there, keep up the good work.

Chhers. Jim
