Old light through old windows

by NaimKhan

I am continuing with photos from my trip to my native Pakistan. This was taken in the basement of a house in the old part of the city of Peshawar. This is one of a few houses built by the 'Sethi' family. The houses are a masterpiece of craftsmanship, with woodwork worth looking at. This particular house has fallen into disprepair. It has been bought by the government and is now being restored, hence the building materials on the floor.
BTW, why does the exif data says exposure is 'shutter priority' when I took the shot in 'aperture priority'? I have noticed this in other photos as well.

Those beams of light are striking Naim. Inevitably there are blow outs in the scene but you have captured lovely detail as well.
You could probably crop the sides.
Regards,
Ian.

Thanks Ian. I had thought about the crop but had left it for some reason that I can't remember now - age eh! I'll take your advice and post the cropped version today.
Cheers.
