Bike Of Orange.

To be quite honest I'm amazed that this shot was recently accepted on to PPG - certainly not one of the 'pretty' shots that I normally have accepted.
Shot in the Dutch city of Maastricht a couple of years ago.

Can I take this opportunity to wish you all a happy new year. It would be nice if we could arrange a 'meet-up' at September's Photokina in Cologne. I'll give that some further thought.

I'm not amazed this is a cracking shot and a very good example of refrained but highly efective colour popping. Best wishes to you for the new year Paul and may I thank you for taking the time to look and comment on my photos over the last year, cheers, Jim

First of all Happy New Year to You & Family. I'm glad of your goal in PPG with this "colour popping" pic.

Cracking photo Paul. A judicial bit of colour popping which works really well.

Gelukkig nieuwjaar en misschien tot Photokina .

I'm not surprised either Paul, this is an exceptionally good shot and the processing enhances it.

At first sight I knew that it is yours. You had also a similar photo here.
Nice composition with the repetitive shapes. The arrangement of the wheels resembles to the Olympic logo. I also like the good use of the colours-pop effect.

And for me, Paul! I also like the suggestion about Cologne.

Many thanks for your comments gentlemen - I'm really surprised that the photo draws such a positive reaction.
We'll discuss Cologne further sometime Nezih?
