Speckled Wood - Drinking

by davidstorm

Last of the butterfly shots for a while at least. This butterfly was warming up on the leaves of a Raspberry plant in our garden. It was also moving quickly over the leaf and sticking its tongue out whilst doing so. I think it was drinking the raindrops that had fallen on the leaves overnight.

I've enjoyed these Macros. Marvelled at too.

Trixie

Hi Trixie, thanks for the comments on my recent images, I'm OK thanks but not much time for photography lately, apart from today when I took myself off to Bempton Cliffs. Too busy doing the house up in the last few weeks!

I'm glad you're OK, hope we can meet up soon.

Best wishes
