I think it is a type of Bracket Fungus Cliff, and very well captured gainst the birch tree branch, really good contrst in the shot

Thats the one Jim thanks for jogging my memory
Done a bit more research into it and its a Birch Bracket Fungi - Piptoporus betulinus.
