Apart from great pictures, i like the frames, is this something easy to do and can it be done in Photoshop Elements 10? I have three kids and it would be great to get these frame time shots.

There are many methods to produce frames if you search the internet for Adobe Tutorials. However try this one Will link and let me know how you get on.

looks really cool - might also look nice when you would pick a the color from a bright, shining part of her hair to hilight the word Lies - tone in tone instead of red might also look good

To add a frame to an image in Photoshop Elements ( I tend to do the following:

Images > Resize > Resize Image - set to desired size without frame.
Images > Resize > Canvas Size. Ensure Relative is ticked. set the width and height - say 2px for each, and then set the canvas extension colour. Click OK.

If you want to do a double frame, repeat and use a different canvas extension colour.

This works really well to ensure the border is even all the way round. Always do that AFTER any image resizing, or the subsequent resizing will make the borders lose their crispness.

Of course if you're doing a Triptych you'd need to do each one, then bring them over into a single image to combine them.

Great shot, as ever. You produce such a polished finish,John.

Mrs C often brandishes kitchen knives but she's usually wearing an apron when she does...
Best wishes,

Andrew

What a cool shot John. Superbly effective in the three frames. Very naughty and very nice.
