Steam in The Pennines

Photo Information
On a cold January afternoon restored Class A4 steam loco 'Union of South Africa' powers the Cumbrian Mountain Express through Kirkby Stephen on the long climb to Ais Gill Summit.
The light was failing and ISO on my K5 was stepped up to 1600.

There were a few on the bridge with me Cliff and yes it was bloody freezing. I got shots of the train earlier at Oxenholme on the West Coast main Line, the fastest I've ever seen a steam train at that location. Then again near Langwathby before it stopped for water at Appleby.
