The optimist

by simonarron

Squirrel fails to realise that Pentax K-7 is not strictly edible. Taken in Kelsey Park, Beckenham, with Tamron 18-250mm f3.5-6.3. I didn't have any food with me - it's just what local squirrels do.

Fantastic close up considering the lens used.
Perhaps it heard someone say you were a bit nuts.

It was luck more than judgment. I was focusing on something else when I felt a familiarly sharp sensation in my left leg. It happens quite often, but this is the only time I've managed to capture such an incident. If you swing around to take a snap, it's usually enough to startle them. This one was particularly bold, stupid or hungry (and possibly all three).

You need to hope that he/she is not related to the rabbit in Monty Python's The holy Grail

Nice shot
