Great capture for a difficult and fast moving subject.

Thanks so much for the comments they are most encouraging.
I haven't been out much with the camera to photo wildlife lately but the other day was most rewarding. Kites had been everywhere but not close enough for a decent shot, then my wife saw one sitting on a fence not too far away, I was slow enough to get a blurred photo of it leaving the fence and then I was able track it until I almost fell over backwards, this was the only really presentable photo. But I was very pleased with it as the lens anti-shake was on for static use and the camera not set up for BIF photography.

A favourite bird of mine and one I love to see in mid-Wales.

Super shot, David.
Best wishes,

Andrew

My birds of prey recognition is pretty awful as, from a distance, they all appear the same to me! This is, as they say, a cracker!
