Last Supermoon of 2016


Photo Information
Greeting the New Year with an old moon; single shot exposed to control the highlights on the moon. Ended up pulling several stops out of the shadows just to see what I can get (yay for the K3). You couldn't see the architecture at all on the original jpg; just the odd light.

I can never get shots of the moon,super or otherwise, like this. Great.

Aha very nice. WOrks well in mono and I like what you did with it contrast wise.

I find my mind goes bezerk trying to pick a 'perfect' composition with the super moons. When one is looking through a 300mm the moon is travelling fast.

Hopefully get using my F*300 f4.5 a lot this year for this type of landscaping,
