Ouseburn

by thingsthatihaveseen

The Ouseburn, Newcastle. One of the few patches of light to make it through the trees on an overcast day in the North East.

Is that a salmon jumping? If it is this is a superb capture, if not, i still think its a great shot but what is it?

Like it, its the glass effect at the top that finishes it off for me.

I wish it was, Malcolm... it's a stray branch I'm afraid... it's a bit of an urban stream, this, so sadly not sure if Salmon could survive in it (although you get plenty in The Tyne)...

Stan, this was taken as the Ouseburn makes its way through Jesmond Dene... one of my favourite places in the Toon...

Best
