Donovan's "Mellow yellow' Wagtail...

More commonly known by those to young to remember Donovan and/or less prone to flights of fancy as a Yellow Wagtail (Motacilla flava). Another of the UK's welcome Summer visitors, but unfortunately one that is becoming less common.
This particular specimen was kind enough to remain close and in the open whilst I struggled to photograph it hand-held with a K-5 sporting a venerable Tamron Adaptall II SP 500mm f/8
