Jupiter system

Jupiter, Callisto, Io, Europa and Ganymede. Not a brilliant photo, but interesting nonetheless, since I dont have access to Hubble.

Taken from my back garden with my K-5 and 600mm Sigma mirror lens.

That's quite impressive. It's not even a very long exposure. Is this the whole field, or did you crop it a bit?

It is cropped.

Despite the short exposure, the planet itself is over-exposed. I've lost any of the surface detail there may be. Any shorter tho, and I'd lose the moons. Next time I'll try two exposures and combine them.
