In need of just a little TLC

by MikeInDevon

Spotted recently whilst on a local walk, I think it's a Jaguar Mark 2, it was in the grounds of an old large dilapidated house whose grounds seemed to be used as a scrap yard.

It still had its rear number plate which showed it's a G reg which means it was registered some time between 1 August 1968 and 31 July 1969, the car behind it looks like another Mark 2.

Surprised they've not been sold to enthusiasts by now, must be worth a bit.

Seeing this image caused me to remember i'd seen a Land Rover parked in a local hedge that I intended to return to for a piccie or two...I m must go back over the weekend!

Cheers for yours anyway.

Hi Karlo,

Yes you'd think they'd be snapped up, but the house owner doesn't exactly encourage visitors even though the route we were walking through the grounds is shown as a right of way! If we hadn't been in a group I don't think I would have risked it.

Cheers

Terrible waste of an antique car although they still look good in the garden. That would be a serious restoration for Edd China from the Wheeler Dealers TV programme!

Even I'd be reluctant to tackle that!
