I had the pleasure to shoot the lovely Kate Whiteley. At a studio day Organised by a group of friends at my camera club. Not really a lot of prior info. just bring along your ideas and shoot. A simple pose, If there is such a thing. As im trying to master lighting techniques..

Really nice pose with a super looking model.......but...........

you need to dial back the smoothing and sharpening quite a bit

Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass

Thanks for the critique guys. All are welcome. Though I have to say. That it was my intention to make the model (Kate) this dominant part of the image. As the shot was for here portfolio. The whiskey is but a prop...

Sorry I hate it!!!! The Jack Daniels that is lovely model well posed and super lighting. Let's hope you have more of her to show us.
