Run Away

by GIULIO57

Do you remember my previous upload “Fired!!!”? Tuscany and Umbria are famous world-wide for being the kingdome of good wines and hills are green for lots of vineyards. I took this photo in Montalcino, San Angelo Stazione, the Land of Brunello. This view attracted my attention in the past but something was always missing..till that day when the caravan appeared. Usually I don’t like cars(see FIRED!!!) or peoples in my compos but this time it was different. I hope You like it. See EXIF for tech data. Camera on tripod is a MUST. PS Speed limit in this country-road(length about 3 kms) is 50km/h….but all drivers reach 100-120 km/h!!! I set shutter-speed at 1/60 to have an almost panned caravan…but it was impossible to read it using such a low shutter-speed(it appeared an almost unreadable-panned-bokeh-ghost). After several attempts I set 1/200s and it worked better, IMHO!

This could only be yours Giulio. A wonderful image, so simple yet so devastatingly effective.

This could only be yours, Giulio. Excellent, classy image, my friend.

I realised that David said the same thing before me, but what of it, it's true.

It still retains a certain 'ghostlike' tendency. No bokeh but a lovely 'at odds' feel.
