Hope you enjoyed the show. I was there Saturday and Sunday. May do the week next year. That F22 is something else!! ✈😎

Hi Al,

yeah, my son and I had a great time. Glad that the weather held out on saturday...it was actually quite sunny at one point after fearing a storm front/heavy rain from the BBC forecast just two or three days earlier.

We ended up on Blue zone next to the Disabled enclosure about 40-50' in from the fenceline. Could have been worse overall...how about you?

Agree that the F22 was impressive, F35 painfully loud in the hover...but my favourites were Mirage 2000s of RAMEX Delta, Rafale, Gripen and Osprey. I particularly like taking pictures of helicopters too and the A400 always puts on an impressive display.

Two days is a good idea...plus might get a bit of time to look round open aircraft and other displays and talk to the aircrew.

Hi Karlo,
Friday I was near the fence line in the red Zone. Would have liked to have been closer but never mind. Saturday I ended up in the viewing village with a grandstand seat. Came across this ticket by chance as a friend of mine couldn't go so I purchased the ticket off him and also accommodation in Gloucester fro the Friday night. 2 very long days but very enjoyable. 👍

Cheers for that Al.

I would have liked to have tried the Red Zone but coming from the NW of England down the M5 always get funneled towards Green...getting there early in the morning though it is possible to 'divert' at the last minute away from the Green route and onto the Blue...although that is understandably very busy. Red would have been a 'colour too far'.

Would have been nice though to have got some landing shots in and lift off from the short takers off.
