Cholera Monument revisited.

I revisited the Cholera Monument today, and re did this photo, when I took it last year I had knocked the top off it, converted to sepia as the sky went grey. This monument is dedicated to the people who died from Cholera in the 1800s from the poor water in Sheffield, and there are 395 buried here, it is a lovely peaceful place to sit and reflect, with super views over the city.

When cholera was a real problem....today as in the past...Cancer!!!How may monuments.Thanks for photo infos.

Nice capture Trixie. I like the effect of the wide angle lens and the nice muted colours, especially the brownish-orange colour of the sky.
Your shots are getting better and better. Keep it up.
