Industrial Art

by AxelLuther

When visiting a former old German steel mill, I saw this detail of a giant "wind machine" - the combination of golden hydraulic oil and green patina fascinated me (and my camera )
Picture was taken with a K20D using the 18-250mm zoom, a tripod and remote control, no flash. The picture is compiled out of a series of 5 single shots

5 shots combined? now that's dedication - looks as if the end result was worth it - lovely feel to this one
No matter how many lenses I have owned - I have always needed just one more

Hi fritzthedog - 5 shots are my standard setting for my HDR images (sometimes I do only 3 but I try to get 5 ideally)

Well taken. The usage of HDR was a good idea IMHO, you got nicer colours without hard shadows. I really like it.
