Holly III
It's a very good portrait but I like the colour ones so much better.

Yes, I know what you mean, David. Holly's colouring is so special it's almost a crime to convert it. Wish I hadn't now! Just wanted to post something different.
Best wishes,
Andrew

But have to agree that it is a shame not to use her beautiful colouration.
All the same, this is a really lovely portrait, the position of her hands give it that something special.

Hey how did you get Holly ? great shot by the way

Being friends with Timbo helps, Shaun...

I'm glad you think that, Nigel, it was my only bit of direction, getting her to fiddle with her scarf! (Holly is so good she just knows what what looks effective in a picture.)
She looks like a 40's/ 50's film star!

Susan Hayward, perhaps or Hedy Lamarr?
Still wish I'd posted the colour version.
Best wishes,
Andrew

I think everyone should have a Holly, or even an Ivy!
Or a Rose or a Petunia? Well, perhaps not a Petunia, Paul!
Best wishes,
Andrew
