Wow what a conundrum. I don't like it and I should. The mono suffers even more and I'm a massive fan of both your pictures and mono

It has everything going for it but there's something that my mind is not accepting. This is truly going to bug me until I figure it out.

Could it be the foreground looks lighter than one would expect (in real life) with the sun partially covered by clouds in the distance.

I think you are right Russ, that is why the BW one has a dark foreground, but it didn't seem to work on the colour one.

Another super landscape, and normally I'd go for the B&W version, but this time I prefer the colour. However, if you keep at it I'm sure that there's a great B&W in here, but I think that it would be beyond my limited PS skills to get it out.
