The Tree and The Mountains

Another one from my recent trip to the Scottish Highlands with Shaun Wilson. This is Rannoch Moor, near Glencoe. The lakes had frozen over, then melted on the top to leave a layer of water with ice beneath. The light when this was taken was probably the best we had all day.

K-5, DA 16-45, Polariser, Hitech ND Grad, Tripod

Best viewed 'Large'.

Its a strange thing to process someone else's images
Your 'motives' for pressing the shutter release would be unique for you, and I would not know what they are, I can only see 'what' the images is, as apposed to 'why' the image is...
