The Wedding Photographer......

by davidstorm

.... at the wedding of a work colleague recently. I like to take shots of other people doing their work and this guy knew what he was doing. Have a peek at 'Firehorse Photography' on the web.

Have a look at this one 'large'; my favourite aspect of this image is the movement of the camera lens!

Shot hand held with the K-5iis and DA 17-70, 1/5 second, no flash.

Actually none at all Nigel!! The so-called 'moire' issue with the K-5iis is pretty non-existant in my experience, having shot thousands of photos with this camera and also having shot at least 2000 of these images at weddings! I've never seen any noticeable moire produced by it.

Not sure Sean, but I messaged him with a link to the photo and he has replied, so I've sent him another question about what camera was he using?

I'll post a reply if I get one!

Cheers old chap I think it is, I can see the 3 left hand side buttons. From the website I get the feeling it would suite his reportage style. I've heard a few wedding togs taking them up, by all reports the JPEGS these Fuji's spit out are outstanding (which would help with processing time I'm thinking.)

Hi Sean, he uses "Fuji X100, XE1 and X Pro1's with a variety of mainly prime lenses"
