Bridgewater hall ceiling trusses

by sandinista

Spanning the auditorium is a complex arrangement of two-way spanning trusses. The trusses have concrete-encased plate girders as their top chords and steel struts and tie rods forming the bottom members. Precast concrete units span between the top chords to form the ceiling of the auditorium.
